What is Osteopathy?

Osteopathy and its principals were created by Dr. Andrew T. Still. He founded the American School of Osteopathy in Kirksville USA in 1892. Osteopathy is a science based on the knowledge of anatomy, physiology and biomechanics and the interrelationships between these fields of study. Osteopathic manual therapy’s goal is to restore the mobility of anatomical structures as well as to allow the flow and normalize the fluctuation of all connective tissues. Osteopathy’s vision is for holistic health.
